The Power of Blogging
Filed Under Main Content | Leave a Comment
Jeremy Long Chia Teik asked:
Blogging is an activity that has changed our landscape on the internet so dramatically that millions of blogs are floating in the blogosphere right now. How do we view blogging and the outcomes of indulging in it like a drug addict is to drug? How much do we know about and to what extent the power of blogging can impact upon our online business?
Even in the mortar-and-brick business, we need to look at certain factors to put our business into trim and fit shape. We often look at good ideas for our product or service, the greatness of the product or service itself, how visible is our product or service, and what comprises support to achieve our goals.
Let’s look at each factor individually:-
* Good Ideas
It is beneficial to our online business if we often have good ideas to further improve it. We have to give our ideas the space to grow, besides nurturing them and bring them to fruition through their implementation. We will see the power of blogging in action if we allow our blogs to be truly transparent and peer reviews to be permitted. For the sake of internal blogs, such strategies will remove the obstacles in idea generation and vetting. There will also be interaction from your customers if you provide the necessary space for them on your blog.
* Greatness of product or service
We have good ideas to be turned into product or service for our online business. We can churn out them out according to our plans. One thing is crucial. The product or service may be great but may under-perform when facing stiff competition. We need to talk and find out from our customers to get feedback, primarily to study the buying patterns of our customers. Blogging helps us unselfishly in this problem area. Through your blog, you are able to obtain answers from your readers at least. Not only locally, but globally, as your blog transcends boundaries on the web. We will definitely know the truth.
* Visibility of our product or service
It is obvious that to market our product or service, it needs to be visible to the world. The right customer will come along at the right time to buy the right product or service. We are in reality talking about the global reach, when your blog has the capacity to touch readers effectively through various programs such as contests and press releases. Interaction with the readers is important. Mindshare, which reveals how many people are really aware of your product or service, is even more significant. The power of blogging brings your online business to a global audience, who must be given an appreciable amount of mindspace. They will of course decide how and when to engage and build a relationship with you. Here, we can actually notice viral marketing in action too. Blogging, with its intrinsic characteristics, will surely bring about the formation of a community of reading participants, large enough to positively affect your online business.
* Support
Through your blog, internal communication is greatly enhanced. Information can be viewed through the blog, similarly minded people can share exchange of views and interests through the blog. The power of blogging brings out the beauty of the blog – it keeps your team informed and motivated at all times. Great ideas can be easily archived and viewed any time. There is common ground to work with passion. The blog does it all in rendering support for better internal communication.
Blogging requires a voice from you. It is the new platform from which you will provide information to meet the needs of your customers and to build relationships with them. Along the way, you will immerse yourself in the culture of blogging. Well, that’s indeed the power of blogging!

6 POWERFUL VRE Business Models You Can Start Building In 2006 Using Google Adsense – Part 4

Cory Threlfall asked:
I hope your ready for this installment of “6 POWERFUL VRE Business Models You Can Start Building In 2006 Using Google Adsense” because what I’m going to reveal to you is in my opinion one of the BEST VRE Business Models you can start with absolutely ZERO cost to you.
The only thing your required to do is learn how to set them up with Google Adsense and targeted affiliate programs.
They are FREE, there’s no hosting costs(optional), search engines love them, they use a state of the art syndication technology and are one of the most talked about phenomenons to hit the web simply because they work.
So, with that said, let’s get on with it.
VRE Model #4. Niche Blogs.
“Niche Blogs” are simply dynamic websites that use a syndication technology called RSS, which stands for Real Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary, that can target any Niche Market.
Now, why do Niche Blogs make such a great VRE Business Model?
Simple. People come online seeking ‘Information’ on or about a particular topic or problem.
Information comes in many forms online, but one of the most Powerful forms are ‘Articles’.
The great thing about Blogs is they give you the ability to Post content, more specifically, targeted content to your niche and then they ping the search engines to come and take a look for potential indexing, then… using the RSS technology, it will then syndicate that post INSTANTLY via RSS to all who’s subscribed to that particular feed giving them the highly target content they requested.
Also, when someone clicks on any of the links your feed is displaying, guess what? It will bring them to back to your blog with all your Google Adsense ads and related affiliate programs which is where you’ll make your money.
The real cool thing is the information you choose to post doesn’t necessarily even have to be yours. You can go to ANY article directory on the web and use other peoples content, saving you tons of time writing it yourself.
The best part about this VRE Model is, all you have to do is set up your blog template with Google Adsense and targeted affiliate programs that will solve that persons query and post to it on a regular basis.
That’s it!
All other actions after that are beyond your control because you can’t make them click on an ad, all you can do is try to entice them to make a decision.
Now, if this VRE Business Model interests you and you want to get started with building Niche Blogs then I recommend you go to Blogger.com – http://www.blogger.com – since they have an easy to use interface and are owned by the all mighty Google.
Just before I warp this up I always like to give examples so I’ll leave you with this one that I’ve been working on.
Go check it out. It might give you some ideas as to how you might want to set up your own Niche Blogs.
