   Hello,

   I’m a part-time blogger myself, I recommend Blogger.com for beginners. It’s part of Google and very easy to start.

   Whether or not people would read your blog depends on many factors, you need freshly updated original content to be ranked on major search engines. Then you would slowly get traffic. I recommend choose a topic that you have a lot to say.

   It totally depends on what you want to blog about. Nobody’s going to pay you to just blog about your daily life. Most professional bloggers are more like journalists, focusing on beats such as technology or politics. I’d say start out blogging as an amateur because you love to write and have something to say, and down the road ask yourself whether you’re doing something good enough to be paid for.
